A Way Through the Fog
For those of us in menopause, brain fog is a thing. It's responsible for me walking into the kitchen and forgetting why. It causes me to ask a friend if I'll see them tomorrow, forgetting that they are the keynote speaker at an event I am hosting.
But I want to talk about an even more menacing fog. It’s a fog that causes feelings of insecurity and incompetence. It’s heavy and blocks my view, reducing my creativity and productivity. It’s agile and conniving, getting in the way of my well-thought-out plans.
If you know what I’m talking about, let me assure you that being knocked off-course by this invisible obstacle does not mean you are broken. You don't need fixing!
You need a new perspective.
Most of the women who reach out to me aren’t lacking motivation, discipline, or strength. They’re standing in the middle of a life that has changed, and are using an old map that no longer works.
What they need is:
Clarity — getting honest about where they are now and what actually matters in this season of life.
Self-trust — learning to hear their own voice again instead of everyone else’s opinions.
Direction — identifying the next right step so they stop spinning and start moving.
They don’t need to “fix themselves.” They need to understand themselves well enough to move forward with confidence.
If this resonates with you, I want to drop a truth bomb:
The women who benefit most from coaching are usually
the ones who look like they have it together on the outside
but quietly feel off-course on the inside.
If you’re thinking, “Okay…that might be me,” you’re not alone.
Mid-life gets lighter when you stop pretending you’re supposed to figure it out alone. I know that for a fact, and it's why I do what I do now...to be the resource for women that I wish had been there for me.
If you’re ready to talk about what your next chapter could look like, schedule a complimentary Discovery Call on my Contact page. No pressure. Just a real conversation about where you are and where you want to go.
If someone came to mind while reading this — a friend, a sister, a colleague — I would appreciate it if you could forward this blog to her.
